Deutsche Bank welcomes Anthony Miller as Chief Executive Officer for Australia and New Zealand

Deutsche Bank today welcomed its new Australia and New Zealand Chief Executive Officer, Anthony Miller. Miller replaces Michael Ormaechea who, as previously announced, has retired after 22 years at Deutsche Bank.

Miller’s announcement was made in April 2017. He joins from Goldman Sachs where he was mostly a Partner and Co-Head of the Financing Group for Asia Pacific, within the investment banking division.

“I am really pleased to finally be here,” said Miller. “Over many years, I have experienced Deutsche Bank in action through transactions and from numerous discussions with clients, and it is clear to me that I have joined a great team and tremendous franchise. I look forward to pushing ahead and building on the business that Michael Ormaechea has handed over to me.”

Miller is based in Sydney and reports to Werner Steinmüller, Deutsche Bank’s Chief Executive Officer for Asia Pacific and member of the Management Board, and to James McMurdo, Head of the Corporate & Investment Bank Asia Pacific.
